Message from the Principal!
It is a delight to be the new principal of Terry Fox Elementary! I have been touched by the warm welcome that I have received by students, staff and parents. I look forward to getting to better know the school community throughout the course of the year. A school community is an integral part of what makes a school successful. The home to school connection is vital for every child to be successful as they chart their journey of learning. Parents are encouraged to be a part of this process as your involvement is an important ingredient to your child’s well-being.
Our primary goal of course is to ensure that all students strive to reach their potential in terms of academic learning as well as social/emotional well-being. With our dedicated staff and parent support we know that we can provide a meaningful learning experience for all children. In addition, our Parent Advisory Council (PAC) spends countless hours organizing activities, special events, and fundraising for field trips, curricular supplies and other necessary items. Their dedication enriches the school experience for all students. You are welcome to be a part of this by attending monthly meetings and volunteering for various events.
